We run a few monthly clubs that are open to everyone. No special skills needed for membership.
Card Club meets monthly. There is a three-month membership period, after which you can renew for three months at a time. Each three month period costs $60. In your monthly kit (and you receive a new one each month,) you receive about $28-30 worth of supplies. I make up ten cards as samples and give you written instructions with photos of each card. You can choose to follow along, or do your own thing. There are two different meeting times. If you can only come in the evening, we meet on a Friday evening, from 6-9 pm, and you have three hours to learn techniques and make cards. There are lots of laughs , and lots of help, should you need it.
If you prefer daytime classes, there is a Tuesday morning session, usually following the Friday evening one. The Tuesday morning session meets from 10am-1 pm. Same deal, new kit each month, three hours to make cards.
The meeting tend to be the third Friday of the month (and following Tuesday,) but as we get closer to the holidays, I will schedule them a bit earlier to avoid the rush. All dates can be found in the calendar section.
Not-Your-Ordinary-Book-Club also meets monthly. We have been using the Pinecone Press special kits, which come with a booklet with instructions and pictures for multiple projects, which can be either scrapbooking-related, card-making, or general use items, boxes, and books. We are in partial flux now as we are picking the kits quite carefully, and not taking every kit every month. Subscriptions are adjusted as needed.
In addition, there is a free class that I teach, and I will tell everyone before the class what tools and materials they need to bring to the meeting.
The club has the same type of membership deal as the card club...three months at a time. Fees depend on whether you get one or two kits. For two kits per month, fee is $60 for the three-month period. For one kit per month, fee is $48.( Best deal is in getting both kits.) If you have questions about either of these two clubs, the staff is happy to answer any questions.
